It develops the plot and characters and ends with a huge twist
The original Dune trailer, the first in a trilogy of the Great Dune Schools, tells the story of how Rossak’s sister evolved into the Bene Gesserit. It’s set in AniMat’s insane animated film Actors: The New Normal (2020). This first episode is almost a carbon copy of the first episode of GOT.
Didn’t make up for it
Pros so far Travis was filming while he was there, stole the show The sets are beautiful I didn’t find any obvious problems with the Dune universe. The story didn’t really grab me until the very end. Cons The first 6 minutes were all about the story, and I personally think the voiceover is a very lazy storytelling device.
Looking for something else to add to your watchlist?
People complaining about the gender politics in Dune media really confuses me. Also, people complaining about it being about the sisters is crazy considering they are the main driving force behind all of the original source material. This is not The Acolyte people, this show is actually decent.
